Wi-Fi was basically nonexistent in the rooms, forcing me to rely on mobile data, which is a hassle. The restaurant felt a bit bland and lacked character, and don’t get me started on the hand-written a la carte menu. it felt more like an afterthought than anything else. And while the food did have some tasty options, I did notice a limited variety.

A bit outdated, but manageable. I did notice no safe and awkwardly placed tea/coffee supplies. The bathroom had a hidden step that could be a trip hazard. But overall, it had all we needed for a cozy night during our stay!

The service was friendly, and the location made it easy to visit historic sites like Gal Viharaya and Dimbulagala. We enjoyed delicious food, especially the breakfast spread.
